Heroes of Kingston
A powerful anthemic presentation featuring 11 fresh, original songs, the result of collaborations between some of the most legendary names from the early Jamaican music scene and JA13 - a reggae based writing, production and remix unit working in Dancehall, Rock Steady, Ragga, Hip Hop, Dub, Roots, Ska and Lovers Rock styles. The aim is to pay tribute to these 'Heroes' with a series of albums featuring contemporary productions. Every track on the album is new and previously unreleased, cleverly combining the classic with the modern.
